Iemand die je zeker komend jaar in de gaten moet gaan houden is Bobby Ray Simmons, beter bekend als rapper Bobby Ray of B.o.B. De jonge getalenteerde muzikant en producer uit Atlanta Georgia brengt volgende maand (27 april om precies te zijn) zijn debuut album “B.o.B. Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray” onder rapper T.I. zijn Grand Hustle label . Hoewel het album eerst gepland stond om op 25 mei uit te komen, is de release datum naar vervroegd. Waarom? Misschien omdat deze jonge man al sinds 2005 aan de weg timmert of zou het misschien toch zijn dat B.o.B. hoge verwachtingen wekt met zijn eerste officiële single “Nothin’ On You” feat. Bruno Mars van zijn album “B.o.B. Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray”? Oordeel zelf maar…

The in Miami based label Slip-N-Slide Records, introduces their newcomer Swazy Baby! Even though he had a ruff time growing up in Georgia, raised by a single mother and determined to provide a way for his family, he is ready to give the audience his versatility. Swazy Baby, who’s real name is Quentavious Nance, is a young multi-functional rapper who knows rap, sing, produce and write songs. By frequently dropping mixtapes, his latest one “1st Round Dra`Pick”, he knows how to sell his craft. With his swavor (swagger and flavour) he is creating a new sound in rap music. In his interview with Miss JoJo Bie he talks about, the influence that The South has on hip-hop, what he thinks about Nicki Minaj and how he deals with negativity and pressure in the music business.
